For three decades, Nobuo Uematsu's timeless music has captured the attention of video game music fans from all walks of life. His compositions put RPG music on the map and have played a critical role in game music, both as an industry and art form.

We as musicians owe our careers and passion in some part to Uematsu-san and the Final Fantasy series. We hope to contribute to and honor that legacy by creating acoustic folk arrangements of our favorite songs. Happy 30th anniversary, Final Fantasy!

I bought all of the soundtracks and arrange albums that came out for them, and I probably listened to them hundreds of times over the years. These early Final Fantasy games have shaped my musical interests and style over the years, leading me to become the musician I am today. Without Uematsu’s music, my interest in the musical arts would certainly not be what it is today. It is such an honor to be able to arrange and perform these pieces for you as part of The Travelers VGM!” - Ian Martyn
