about

This is a set of three slipjigs. Foxhunter's is probably one of the most well known slipjigs around and has been recorded countless times. I first heard Na Ceannabháin Bhána played by Dervish and have since heard it a few more times. Angus John MacNeil of Barra is a Scottish slipjig that I most recently heard by Dàimh; their singer, Ellen MacDonald, seamlessly weaves the port-à-beul (mouth music) Dhannsamaid Le Ailean into this tune.

Yishan plays the flute here, and I tried to do something a little bit unorthodox with my DADGAD playing.
